What is Strategic Big Data?
The most complete definition of Strategic Big Data that I found was from the Gartner IT Glossary. "Big data is high-volume, high velocity, and high-variety information assets that demand cost-effective, innovative forms of information processing for enhanced insight and decision making" (Gartner IT Glossary, 2013). This definition explains that big data is not just about massive quantities of data, but more-so about how to create value from that data.
